While we fully encourage you to take in everything the expo has to offer, we also want you to see a bit of the city. Here are ten things you should do in San Francisco while you're at the NAR expo!

1. Rincon Park

If you're looking for a quick trip away from the conference, Rincon Park may be the destination for you. Just blocks from the conference center, this small park offers a great view of the San Francisco – Oakland Bay Bridge.

2. Yerba Buena Gardens

Another popular destination just minutes from the conference center is the Yerba Buena Gardens. This open space offers landscaped lawns, gardens, artwork, and serene waterfalls. There are also coffee houses, pubs, and cafes perfect for grabbing a quick bite.

3. Alamo Square

One of San Francisco's many beautiful parks, Alamo Square is adjacent to what may be the most famous stretch of homes in America: the Painted Ladies. This row of Victorian houses is well known for its appearance in movies, TV shows, and postcards. Stop by to see this famous landmark for yourself.

4. Golden Gate Park

One of San Francisco's most popular destinations, the Golden Gate Park has something for everyone—from the Japanese Tea Garden to the carousel, disc golf course, Segway tours, and even a bison herd.

5. San Francisco Zoo

Spread over 100 acres of west San Francisco, this zoo is host to more than 250 species, making it a must-visit location for animal lovers.

6. Grab a Bite

San Francisco is home to innumerable restaurants. Explore local cuisine with San Francisco's famous clam chowder bread bowls, Ghirardelli chocolate, cioppino, or mission style burritos. Whatever you like to eat, San Francisco's got something for you.

7. Tour Alcatraz

Alcatraz Island has been a civil war fort, military prison, and a notorious federal penitentiary. Now, it's a popular museum. Hop on the ferry and enjoy Alcatraz's audio tour and a unique view of the Golden Gate Bridge.

8. Ride a Cable Car

San Francisco's cable car system is the last working system of its kind. This iconic, historic mode of transportation has three working lines near the conference center, so pick a route and enjoy the sites in style.

9. Fisherman's Wharf

One of the city's most popular tourist destinations, Fisherman's Wharf offers scenic views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and the bay. It's home to a colony of sea lions and has a range of tours, restaurants, and souvenir shops visitors can explore.

10. Visit the Beach

Get your feet wet at one of San Francisco's many beaches. Some of the more popular beaches include Baker Beach, Ocean Beach, and China Beach, but San Francisco also has several smaller beaches.

However you decide to spend your time away from the conference, remember to stop by booth #851. We'll be hosting educational sessions each hour, giving away $500 a day, oh and did I mention the free booze!
