Ben is No. 1, again: Caballero tops all REAL Trends Thousand lists since 2013

June 22 2020

Every year since 2013, one individual real estate agent has sold more homes annually and also led everyone in total sales volume on REAL Trends' annual list of top agents. Ben Caballero‘s individual production numbers for last year are astonishing--more than 5700 homes sold with a total sales volume of $2.25 billion.

The massive stack of MLS data showing he was the sole listing agent on each of his 5,778 homes sold that he provided REAL Trends proves this incredible accomplishment.

wav ben is no 1 againIt's important to note that Ben has never had a team, been part of a team, or shared his production with anyone else.

The Thousand list, after adding a sponsor last year, is now called the REAL Trends + Tom Ferry The Thousand. In a move that has a lot more people ranked No. 1, for the first time, The Thousand has added a slew of categories.

Ben sold more homes and achieved a higher total sales volume than every other individual and even every other team, including the top teams owned by a brokerage. Ben is a sales machine and the king of home sales.

It earned him the singular status in real estate of being the first agent ever to hold a Guinness World Record for home sales. He is on his second consecutive one as his 2018 production broke his own sales record – slightly higher than this year's achievement.

Ben remains the current Guinness World Record title holder for "most annual home sale transactions through MLS by an individual sell side real estate agent."

Because Ben has a different business model, he is a wholesale agent who works directly with more than 60 builders in Dallas-Ft. Worth, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio. Ben always explains that while he doesn't do the same things most other agents do, other agents don't do the things that he does.

He defended his perennial ranking in a column he wrote for Inman News two years ago, "Why agent rankings are based on production – not business model." And if you want to understand how Ben does what he does, listen to his five-part podcast series on Apple, Google Play or Spotify.

The bottom line is when you compare all the production numbers, Ben Caballero, owner and founder of HomesUSA.com, remains America's top-ranked agent.
