If you currently have a technology list like the one above, instead of adding the latest and greatest technologies, perhaps the best way to spend your time is to educate yourself on the technologies you already have.  With technology, consider the old adage "Less is more".  It is better to become an expert in a few technologies, than someone who uses dozens of technologies to half of their potential.

Maybe it's time to take it to the next level.

REALTOR® Magazine recently posted a helpful article detailing nine strategies real estate agents can employ to do more with the technology they already have in their arsenal.

These nine strategies include:

  1. Tap into the knowledge that surrounds you - Each of us have resources around us that we can utilize to become more tech savvy.
  2. Engage your audience on Facebook- From fan pages, posting photos and avoiding the hard sell, Facebook provides a free platform full of possibilities.
  3. Leverage the cloud- Utilize the power of 'cloud computing' through document management solutions like Dropbox.
  4. Browse the Web more efficiently - Four tips to create a better viewing experience and find what you are looking for faster.
  5. Do your homework before buying anything- Consider a number of tech questions about digital cameras, Smartphones, and mobile computers before buying.
  6. Increase your exposure on listing Web sites- Boost your presence with features listing placement on popular real estate sites.
  7. Seek new ways to create personal connections- Consider foursquare, MiFi and more to add a personal touch to your online connections.
  8. Know your Smartphone's shortcuts- Eight tips for using your Blackberry more effectively and eight tips for using iPhone 4 more efficiently.
  9. Get up to speed on WordPress – Make your blog your own, get plug ins and WordCamp workshops.
