Lone Wolf Launches Overhauled Transactions (zipForm Edition)
Lone Wolf Technologies announced the launch of a new forms solution for Lone Wolf Transactions (zipForm Edition). The solution will be rolled out nationwide, market by market, starting today. Lone Wolf's new forms solution is the first of its kind. It brings forms, documents, contacts, offer details, listing details, and signings together into a single, intuitive interface, while harnessing machine learning technology to improve contract authoring and to make intelligent suggestions. A core component of the member benefit Transactions (zipForm Edition), and natively connected to eSignature solution Authentisign, the new forms solution will increase efficiency and improve accuracy throughout the entire authoring and signing process for agents, brokers, buyers, and sellers. "Our forms solution has long set the standard in real estate, and I'm proud to say we've raised the bar today," said Jimmy Kelly, CEO and President of Lone Wolf. "Agents can now work faster than ever with all their documents, signings, and tools in one place while the technology provides suggestions along the way. This is a massive step forward in our mission to bring the best tech to the industry and simplify real estate transactions for all." The new forms solution has been completely reimagined to include new features such as: A unified workspace – Fill out multiple forms at once; see documents and transaction, contact, and offer details in the same place Intuitive forms – Auto-populate information from parties, listings, and offers Forms recommendation engine – Intelligent suggestions based on past transactions Modern interface – Completely redesigned UI focused on zero learning curve Clause variables – Create and personalize clauses The new innovations are the result of a multi-year design and build process, in which thousands of agent customers validated the features required for a compelling digital experience. "The new forms editor is a game changer," said Renee Greenwell, Realtor at Keller Williams Realty Falls Church. "I can now easily edit all my documents for a given transaction at once and add any that were missed. I can change the order while updating parties and details without switching in and out of the [forms] window." Forms have been the backbone of Transactions (zipForm Edition) since 2015, when the solution was initially provided as a national member benefit. Since then, Lone Wolf has grown Transactions into a comprehensive transaction management solution by introducing new product features, connecting it to the company's advertising, CMA, CRM, and back office solutions, and integrating it with leading providers of digital home warranty, title insurance, and more. Soon, the company will also bring the newest version of Authentisign into Transactions (zipForm Edition), a solution which features the same groundbreaking technology as the new forms editor. Together, these two solutions will go a long way to modernizing not just the forms and signing process, but the entire buyer and seller journey. "Real estate has moved from fragmented point solutions to digitally connected experiences," said Sean Wheeler, CTO of Lone Wolf, "and transactions are the heart of it all. With forms connected to signings, marketing, client management, and ancillary services, Transactions is the only solution in real estate that can provide a complete—and completely connected—experience from start to finish."

Zillow's Opinion of Upstream and CAR's Forms License Policy Is Obvious
I have been reading articles about Zillow Group's positioning on Upstream and the forms licensing policy of the California Association of REALTORS® with great interest. My take away is that Zillow Group is doing and saying exactly what they should be doing and saying to positively impact Zillow's market opportunities in real estate. Remember, Zillow has industry relations people and government relations people that want to fight tooth and nail for every advantage they can get. It's business. Without Property Listings, Zillow Dies

Capture Forms that Capture Leads
Are your capture forms working for you? Try to recall a recent encounter you had with online capture forms. Was the overall experience positive or negative? Far too often, sites phone it in with very poor UX on pages where they know you must complete a form to get what you need. Would you be willing to abandon an item in your cart because the checkout process was a pain? I actually did just a few moments ago. I ended up purchasing a similar item, which I liked less, from a competing site solely because I preferred their online experience. For real estate websites, forms are arguably the most important feature within the website or app. Without lead registrations, unknown visitors could browse hundreds of properties on your site, only to ultimately call someone else about a listing they originally found on your site. Are you doing everything you can to maximize your traffic and convert it into registrations? A step in the right direction is to have great capture forms that are prompted at exactly the right times so that visitors are happy to give you their info. What makes a great form? Provide Value First Sometimes we forget that this online relationship is an exchange. Visitors become willing to provide you with their contact information because your site has (hopefully) provided them a service first. Before you begin down the path of better capture forms, make sure your site offers plenty of solid content. Even if you've got a great blog and static content pages, listings are the real conversion engine for a real estate website. If you use forced registration, only prompt the form after a handful of properties have been viewed first.

Introducing the new RPR / zipForm® Integration
RPR's newest integration offers yet another time saving benefit for REALTORS® rattled by the need to jump from one platform to another when creating sales forms. Now, REALTORS® who use zipForm® can go directly to RPR's Property Details page from zipForm®, and vice versa, via one simple click. The integration also allows Realtors® to create new zipForm transactions using public records information from RPR. Setting Up the Integration From RPR's Property Details page, most REALTORS® using zipForm will automatically see the new zipForm Transactions button. If not, connect by way of your RPR User Profile. Choose Link Accounts and a series of simple prompts will help begin the process. Once complete, the zipForm Transactions button will display on the Property Details page in RPR. Users will then have the option to: Go to specific transactions for that property address in zipForm® Start a new transaction for the street address pulled up in RPR Go to the RPR homepage

3 Ways to Leverage the Integration between zipForm and DocuSign Transaction Rooms
The last year brought some extensive improvements to the integration between zipForm and DocuSign Transaction Rooms (DTR), including full form editing capabilities within a Transaction Room. Recently, we added the ability for users to fill out zipForm forms within a mobile browser. That addition motivated me to write a quick recap on the three main ways you should be utilizing our zipForm integration today. 1. zipForm through DocuSign Transaction Rooms on a PC. zipForm works best from your PC's browser; be that Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Internet Explorer, or most other modern browsers. From the web browser, you can access full form editing within a Transaction Room. For a quick walkthrough of how this works, view this video tutorial.

Statewide Forms Are Good Practice
In our Internet age, consumers often feel they can complete their real estate transaction without a real estate agent. Where they may run into problems, however, is with the forms – especially if those forms are exclusive to the state's real estate Association. If access to forms is an exclusive benefit of membership in a state Association, consumers cannot use them. State Associations work with reputable vendors, such as zipLogix and Instanet, to provide forms. These vendors have developed their systems to authenticate identity with the state Association roster before allowing access to forms. This means that, if the person attempting to use the form is not a member of the Association, they cannot access it. This protects one of the primary benefits of REALTORS®. "Forms providers like zipLogix are a sort of positive watchdog, protecting agents, brokers, and Associations," explains Victor Lund, RE Technology CEO and founding co-partner at WAV Group. "Their technology protects the sanctity of the state forms, promising agents that the forms are legal and promising Associations that only agents will have access." Exclusivity isn't the only benefit of statewide forms. There are quite a few other reasons that statewide forms are good practice: Consistency. Today's broker often represents consumers in a variety of markets around the state. You don't want to be training and supporting agents on multiple versions of the forms. And whenever you have multiple forms, you have a situation where things can get confusing and possibly risky. This is something you want to avoid, especially with documents you need to close transactions with airtight legality. The solution is consistency – and that consistency can come from statewide forms.
