Tehachapi Area Association Signs Extension for Rapattoni MLS

SIMI VALLEY, Calif., March 22, 2016 – Rapattoni Corporation announced today that the Tehachapi Area Association of REALTORS® (TAAR) has signed a multi-year contract extension for the Rapattoni MLS software and has also added Rapattoni's Parcel Mapping service. TAAR is located in Kern County, California, and has been using the Rapattoni MLS since 2011.

The Rapattoni MLS software provides real estate professionals with instant access to live listing data and other critical resources. The MLS includes a wide range of powerful searches, reports, and prospecting tools for agents, with an intuitive interface for desktop computers and notebooks as well as a responsive touch-based interface for mobile devices. It also leverages the industry's most advanced RETS 1.7.2 data exchange system, with RESO Data Dictionary 1.3 certification and a Listing Syndication Manager that empowers MLS staff and brokers to easily manage syndication feeds for third-party sites such as Zillow and Realtor.com.

TAAR's MLS site includes Rapattoni's state-of-the-art mapping system with map layers showing current MLS listings and MLS listed sales, plus schools, restaurants, hospitals, and other points of interest. The integrated Parcel Mapping component leverages spatial parcel data to offer additional layers showing the physical layouts of properties and surrounding neighborhoods. In addition to the Parcel Mapping service, TAAR will receive a new map layer showing MLS Areas which will also be used to auto-populate data during listing input.
