Who Knew What the Realtor Could Do?

I guess that referring to realtor.com® as 'the Realtor' is probably not cool, but it makes for a catchy headline that will hopefully draw your attention to something that we think will be very helpful to all REALTORS®. Realtor.com® is hosting a conference for rockstar agents and brokers, and it's in Las Vegas September 19th and 20th at the Encore at Wynn Las Vegas.

If you are looking for an excuse to head out to Vegas during the best time of year for weather to have some fun, learn to sell more property, and hang with other cool REALTORS® from across America – this is the tax deductible trip that you have been looking for.

Check out the agenda on the website to learn about what they have in store. It looks like a really great conference. My take is that they are blending the sessions to be a little bit about learning from the executives at realtor.com® with a whole lot of learning from top agents and teams who are running their business around Top Producer®.

Let's face it--running a successful business in real estate requires technology today. You absolutely must have a CRM, and Top Producer® CRM is a good one. But regardless of the CRM you use, learning how top agents and teams are leveraging these tools is the most valuable part. I am sure that there will be a heavy dose of promotion of realtor.com®, but even if you don't plan to advertise there, you will be able to understand the dozens of ways that you can leverage your listings and your profile on realtor.com® to produce lots of free leads. The site is not all pay to play – and only savvy agents know the secrets of winning without spending.

A reality that agents and teams understand is that a lead is a customer that someone else lost. A lot of the conference will be about using tools to manage communications to the people that you are connected with. The top reason why someone does not use their Realtor in a future transaction is because the Realtor failed to stay in touch. If you want to stay in touch with hundreds of people on a regular basis, you need CRM email automation. You probably did not know that agents actually share the best drip marketing emails that drive the highest open rates and click through rates. You can literally source the best marketing that has already been proven to work by other successful agents. It is a lot better than sitting down to create it on your own.
