How to Personalize Videos for Different Target Markets

January 17 2018

vs personalize video content different targetsThe central focus of many modern marketing campaigns is to personalize videos. Rather than trying to create generic content, local content focuses on the real estate markets and areas close to you.

Through this, you can develop a stronger relationship with your customer base while also protecting your resources.

Why Is It Important to Personalize Videos?

Localized content gives you the ability to target your marketing effort. Rather than spending hundreds of dollars growing your marketing on a global scale, you can spend just a few dollars marketing to the people that you actually serve.

The same goes for the amount of time and effort spent on your marketing endeavors. Local content is also focused content: it's more likely to be useful to people, and thus more likely to be valuable to them.

How Can You Personalize Video Content?

Focus on local markets. These are the things that your audience is going to be interested in. Though there may be a thousand general purpose guides on "How to Buy a House," there will be fewer guides on "How to Buy a House in San Francisco," or "How to Buy a House in Downtown Dallas."

Post info about local community events. Is there a school fundraiser going on? A charity event? Posting videos about local events does two things: it helps position you as an expert in your area, and it spreads goodwill and positive branding.

Geo-target your tags and ads. Tags should always include your areas of focus, while any paid ads and promoted video ads should be targeted towards the location around your business.

Localizing your content doesn't have to be hard. In fact, in many ways it can actually be easier because you're talking about a specific market area that you personally know. Just remember who your buyer is, what they're interested in, and where they come from.

From there, you just need to focus on creating the content most relevant to them.
