How to Present Your Listings Using Video

February 26 2018

vscreen How to Present Your Listings Using VideoListing videos are a great way to both establish brand awareness and drum up interest. Through listing videos, you show your sellers that you're truly working to sell their property — while also showing prospective clients that you'll work equally as hard for them. But how do you present your listings in a compelling, interesting way?

Show Exterior, Establishing Shots of the House

Don't just show the interior of the property. Be dynamic. Take a few shots of the best aspects of the house, from inside and out. If you can, have someone else help you shoot, so you can walk and talk at the same time.

Emphasize the Best Amenities

Which amenities made you say "wow" when you walked through the property? These are the amenities that you want to focus on during the video walkthrough. Listing videos should also include the obvious facts and scenes: the number of bedrooms and the bedrooms, the number of bathrooms and the bathrooms, and of course the kitchen.

Make Sure Your Branding Is Solid

Your videos need to establish you as a trustworthy resource and as a brand. You need to make sure your branding is solid throughout the video. Include your headshot, company logo, and other relevant information. Watermarking the corner of each shot is a good way to make sure that people remember it.

Have a Strong Call-to-Action

What does your customer need to do next? Your customer needs the next step, whether it's to contact you about that specific listing or to ask about other options. A strong call to action is absolutely critical for marketing engagement.

All of your listings should have solid listing videos. Even if the viewer doesn't have an interest in that particular property, they may still be interested in your other, similar properties. Over time, you'll build enough content that you'll be drawing people in through a variety of videos.
