Creating a Content Marketing Plan: Step 1

We're pretty excited about our new contributor, Nicole Nicolay. Chances are, you've heard of this powerhouse before - perhaps as "Nik Nik." She puts her ample experience to work on many real estate-related projects. Nicole is Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Agent Evolution, a WordPress Web design and education company; she is also co-founder and editor of MyTechOpinion.com. Now, she's sharing this knowledge with the RE Technology community.

If you’re using social media or blogging, you realize that you need to be creating and sharing valuable content. But how do you do that? In this video, Nicole talks about creating a content marketing plan, specifically the first step: strategizing.

You can begin by asking yourself these two questions:

  1. What do you have to offer? In other words, what is your area of expertise?
  2. What do your clients really need from you?

Nicole also gives a few examples of real estate pros who are using content marketing effectively.
